The concept for MakerMatch started with a simple search for a new coffee table. After endless scrolling, Rachel, one of our founders, felt nothing was hitting the mark. And the idea of going the custom route felt painful: phone calls, scattered emails, unclear quotes. That experience sparked a question: Why isn’t it easier to get something custom made—especially when you know exactly what you want?
MakerMatch was created to solve that problem. For homeowners, designers, and creative minds, it offers a straightforward way to bring unique ideas to life. For artisans, it’s a place to discover well-scoped projects that match their craft—and to connect with clients who value custom work.
AI is opening new doors for creativity, but realizing those ideas in the physical world still feels out of reach for most people. MakerMatch helps bridge that gap, empowering both sides of the creative process.
